Sell tickets to an event
Charge for an event with one ticket that covers every session, choose whether members attend free, and see what a buyer gets.
The short version
- In Access settings, pick one of the two ticket choices and enter a Ticket price from $1 to $10,000. One ticket covers the whole event.
- Members of a paid-membership community attend free. In a free community, you choose whether members attend free or buy a ticket too.
- Ticket sales work on Free and Pro once payments are ready. The Lockers fee is 5% per sale on Free and 1% on Pro, and Stripe charges its processing fee separately.
Before you start
- You are the owner or an admin, and your authenticator is set up.
- Payments are ready under Admin, Sales, Payments. Until they are, the ticket choices in Access settings are unavailable, and the builder's Settings step shows a Set up payments link.
Set up the ticket

Open the access choices
In the New event sheet, select Access settings. For an event you already created, select Edit on its page and open the Settings step.

Choose who pays
For a paid event where members attend at no cost, choose Members come free. Guests buy a ticket. To charge members too, choose Everyone buys a ticket, which appears only in a community that is free to join.

Enter the price
Enter a Ticket price between $1 and $10,000. The hint under it reads USD. One ticket covers the whole event.

Let buyers reach the page
Under Who can see the page?, choose Anyone with the link or Listed publicly so people outside the community can buy. Picking a ticket choice moves a members-only page to Anyone with the link.

Save and share
Select Create event, or let the Settings step save the change. A paid event starts with the Event wall on, and you can turn it off in Settings. On the event page, select Share, which opens your device's share options or copies the link and shows Link copied.
Who pays in each kind of community
- Paid-membership community: members attend free and see Free with your membership. Anyone else buys a ticket.
- Free community where members attend free: members register at no cost, and guests buy a ticket. Guests see a note that members of your community attend free.
- Free community where everyone buys: members pay the same price as guests.
- In every case, a ticket covers that event only, and buying one does not join the buyer to your community. Owners and admins always attend free.
What a buyer sees

Open the event page
The page shows Get a ticket with the price. Signed-out buyers see Sign in to get a ticket first.

Choose and continue
The Get a ticket sheet shows the signed-in account, asks How will you attend? on a hybrid event, and has Remind me by email switched on. The buyer agrees to the payment terms and selects Continue to payment, which opens Stripe.

Wait for confirmation
After paying, the page shows Finishing your purchase while Stripe confirms the payment. Some payment methods take longer. Buyers do not need to pay again and can leave the page.

Attend
Once Stripe confirms the payment, the page shows Payment confirmed. You're registered. The buyer's pass sits at the top of the event page, with the sessions, the wall if it is on, and any replays.
Stop selling tickets
Set Who is this event for? back to Members only in the Settings step. New sales stop, and everyone who already bought a ticket keeps access.
A ticket follows its payment. A full refund removes the ticket and the registration, and so does a payment dispute unless it is resolved in your favor. Ticket holders cannot cancel from their pass; they see Contact the host for a ticket refund. Removing or banning someone from the community also ends their access.
If it does not work
- The ticket choices are greyed out: finish payment setup under Admin, Sales, Payments.
- Connect a Stripe account that is ready to accept payments before selling an event. Payments are not ready yet. Refresh the Payments screen after finishing Stripe's steps.
- Set a ticket price between $1 and $10,000. The price is missing or outside that range.
- Choose a link or public page so guests can register. Guests cannot buy through a members-only page.
- Selling is not available yet. Existing purchases remain accessible. That message means new sales are paused, and existing ticket holders keep access.
- A buyer paid but still sees Finishing your purchase: some payment methods take time. Access appears once Stripe confirms.
