Sell a course or a membership inside the Locker you already run.
Members buy on the course or membership page they were already reading, and payment goes to your own Stripe account. Lockers takes 5% of a course payment on Free and 1% on Pro, and Stripe charges its processing separately.

Set a one-time price on any course from Admin.
A course price is a one-time amount in USD, set in Selling and payments. A course left at $0 stays included for everyone who joined. A new price applies to future purchases, and the people who already paid keep their access at the price they paid.
A monthly or annual membership that includes every course, on Pro.
On Pro, admission can be a paid membership with a monthly and an annual price in USD. The join page lists what the membership includes before anyone pays, and a paying member gets the whole Locker, classroom included, in one checkout. The 1% fee applies to each membership payment, renewals included.
A 5% fee on Free, 1% on Pro, plus Stripe processing.
On a $79 course, the Lockers fee is $0.79 on Pro or $3.95 on Free, and Stripe charges its processing separately at its own rates. We calculate the fee after discounts and before tax, and a refund returns it in proportion.
Payments go to a Stripe account you own.
You connect Stripe from Admin and finish its business and payout details there. The card in Selling and payments reports whether payments and payouts are enabled, and it opens the Stripe dashboard if Stripe needs anything else from you. Payout timing and card rates are set by Stripe, which is why we quote our fee separately from theirs.
Admins can see why a member can or cannot open a course.
A member's record in Audience lists their community access and each course with the reason they can or cannot open it: purchased, included with membership, or requires a purchase. An admin answering a support question reads the same explanation the member sees. Payment amounts are visible only to the owner.
What buying looks like for a member
The buy button is on the course or membership page the member was already reading. Stripe takes the card, and the lesson opens when they come back.
A single payment for a course
A member opens the course and sees the price in USD plus any tax. After one payment the course is theirs, and the receipt comes from Stripe.
Membership on one card
A member who joins monthly gets the whole classroom with that membership. Manage membership and payment method takes them to Stripe for their card and invoices.
Canceling keeps the paid period
Canceling stops the next renewal and keeps access until the paid period ends. Refund questions go to the owner, who can return all or part of a payment from Admin.
What Free and Pro include
Both plans can sell a course once payment setup is finished. Pro drops the fee from 5% to 1% and adds paid membership, which is the model for one price that covers everything you publish.

A Locker with paid membership includes every course and cannot price them separately, so pick the model that fits what you publish.
What selling does not include
There are no coupons, no payment plans, no affiliate payouts, no order bumps, no bundles, and no pay-what-you-want pricing in Lockers, so a launch built around a discount code needs a different tool. A Locker with paid membership covers every course under one price and cannot sell a course separately. We also do not calculate or file your sales tax. Stripe collects the payment, and tax remains your responsibility.
The questions asked most often
What does Lockers charge on a sale?
5% of each course payment in a Free Locker and 1% in a Pro one, calculated after discounts and before tax. Payment processing costs extra and Stripe sets those rates. When you refund a payment, the proportional platform fee comes back; provider fees follow the provider's rules.
Do I need my own Stripe account?
Yes. The owner connects a Stripe account from Admin and completes Stripe's business and payout details before anything can be sold. Payments arrive in that account and payouts run on Stripe's schedule, so your banking relationship is with Stripe.
What happens to my buyers if I cancel Pro?
Buyers keep the courses they purchased, and paid-through membership access stays intact. Scheduling cancellation does not stop member renewals while Pro is still active. Once that Locker's Pro entitlement expires, member subscriptions are set to stop renewing at the end of their current periods, and new membership sales need Pro again.
Can I refund someone?
Yes, in full or in part, from Orders and refunds in Admin. A full course refund removes that course's access and a partial refund leaves it in place. Refunding a membership payment updates access for the refunded period and leaves the subscription running. Refunds are settled between you and your buyer, and we return the proportional platform fee with each one.
