Turn your book into a course, events and a paid reader community.
On Free, sell a course built from the material that did not fit in the book and sell tickets to launch events and workshops. Pro adds a paid membership for your reader community. Start free with unlimited readers.
01 ·A course from your book
Sell the course your readers keep asking for.
Put the extra chapters, worksheets and videos into lessons and set a one-time price, so readers can buy the course from its page. Downloads attach to any lesson.
- Course sales run in a free-to-join community on Free or Pro, after you connect Stripe and complete payment setup.
02 ·Events
Sell tickets to launches, readings and workshops.
Run it in person, hybrid or online with a meeting link. Readers who are not members buy a ticket with a free Lockers account and do not join your community. Reminders go out the day before and 15 minutes before.
03 ·Reader community
A reader community you can keep free or charge for.
Start a thread for each chapter and add polls to your posts. A free community can require approval, so you admit your launch team one request at a time. On Pro, joining can be a paid membership that includes every course.
- A paid membership includes every course in that community. To sell single courses as well, run a second, free-to-join community; each community has its own Free or Pro plan.
04 ·Writers' groups
An online community for writers to share their work.
Make categories for work in progress, feedback and questions. Critique partners can discuss a draft in a private group of up to 50 people, and nobody has to share an email address.
