Downgrading never deletes anything.
Cancel and your community keeps running on its lockers.social address under the free-plan limits. Posts, courses, members and files stay where they are. Pro tools stop accepting new work, and anything already made with them stays readable. Your custom domain keeps routing for 14 days, then the subdomain takes over. Nothing is deleted unless you delete it yourself.
Your data
Every post, comment, course and file stays. Over-limit files stay downloadable; you just cannot add more.
Your domain
Routing stops after 14 days. The domain stays yours and reconnects the moment you upgrade again.
Your members
Nobody is removed. If you are over the free member limit, new joins are blocked until you are under it.
What happens at a limit.
At 90% of your member or storage limit the owner gets a notice in Admin. At 100% new joins and new uploads are refused with a message that says why. Nothing already there is touched. The fix is to remove some, or to upgrade.
Before you pick.
Do I need a card for the free plan?
No. You need an email address and a name for your community.
What counts toward storage?
Images and files you upload. YouTube lessons do not, because the video stays on YouTube.
Can I switch from monthly to yearly?
Yes, in the billing portal. Stripe prorates the difference.
Do you charge per member?
No. One price, up to the member limit on your plan.
