Use Lockers
Course sales, paid memberships, and fees
Choose course sales in a free-to-join Locker or paid membership on Pro, and understand fees, event tickets, cancellation, and refunds.
The short version
- Selling is available after the Locker owner connects a Stripe account and completes payment setup.
- The Free or Pro plan belongs to one Locker. A Pro subscription and a member’s purchase are separate payments.
- Free-to-join Lockers can sell courses. Paid membership requires Pro and includes every course.
Payment setup and availability
Selling is available after the Locker owner connects a Stripe account and completes payment setup.
- 1
Open selling settings as the owner
Open Admin, then Sales. The Payments tab opens Selling and payments. You can also reach it from Settings, then Locker subscription, under Member payments. Confirm your authenticator if requested. Only the owner can manage payments and refunds.
- 2
Connect Stripe
Select Connect Stripe and complete the account and payout details Stripe requests. If setup needs attention, select Continue Stripe setup. Connecting an account alone does not mean it is ready to take payments.
- 3
Choose admission and pricing
Keep membership free to sell individual courses, or use Pro and choose paid membership with a monthly or yearly USD price. For a free-to-join Locker, set a one-time USD price in each course’s settings; $0 includes that course for members.
Your Locker’s plan and membership price
Upgrading one Locker does not upgrade the other Lockers you own. Pro stays $49 per month or $470 per year for that Locker, with unlimited members and courses, 25 GB of files, and 1,200 minutes of uploaded video. Free includes unlimited members, unlimited courses, 1 GB of files, and 120 minutes of uploaded video.
Each Locker has its own Free or Pro plan. A free-to-join Locker can sell individual courses: the Lockers platform fee is 5% on Free and 1% on Pro. Paid membership requires Pro, includes every course, and has a 1% platform fee on each membership payment. Courses cannot be sold separately in a paid-membership Locker.
A separate course purchase belongs in a free-to-join Locker. A paid-membership Locker includes all its courses in the recurring membership price, so members do not pay again for an individual course.
Platform fees and payment processing
For course sales in a free-to-join Locker, the platform fee is 5% on Free and 1% on Pro. For paid membership on Pro, the platform fee is 1% on each payment, including renewals. The owner’s Pro subscription is a separate charge.
Event tickets follow the course rate for that Locker's plan: 5% on Free and 1% on Pro.
Payment processing costs extra. We calculate the platform fee after discounts and before tax. When a payment is refunded, we return the proportional platform fee; payment-provider fees follow the provider’s rules.
For example, on a $100 course payment before tax, the platform fee is $5 on Free or $1 on Pro. A $100 membership payment has a $1 platform fee. Processing costs are additional in each case.
Selling supports fixed course prices and monthly or annual membership in USD. Coupons, installments, affiliates, upsells, and course bundles are not part of these selling options.
Purchases and access
A course purchase gives the buyer access to that course in its Locker. Paid membership includes all courses for the paid membership period. Access appears after payment is confirmed; returning from checkout alone does not confirm payment.
Use the Lockers account associated with the purchase. If a confirmed payment does not show access, contact the community owner with the Locker address and receipt reference. Do not send a full card number.
Event tickets
Event tickets are available on Free and Pro once payment setup is ready, and they do not depend on Live hosting. The owner or an admin sets a USD price on an event, and one ticket covers the whole event. The platform fee is 5% on Free and 1% on Pro.
Who pays depends on the event's access choice. In a paid-membership Locker, members attend free and guests buy a ticket. In a free Locker, the owner chooses whether members attend free while guests buy, or everyone buys at the same price. A ticket covers that event only and does not make the buyer a member of the community.
Free guest registration is separate from a ticket. It lets someone sign up for one event without paying and does not make them a member of the community.
A full refund removes the ticket and the registration, and so does a payment dispute unless it is resolved in the owner's favor. A partial refund keeps the ticket.
Cancellation and refunds
For an existing paid membership, open Membership and purchases to manage billing and cancel future renewal. Ordinary cancellation preserves access through the period already paid for. Leaving a Locker does not cancel a recurring payment, and cancellation does not itself refund one.
Contact the community owner about a course, event ticket, or membership refund. A full course refund removes purchased course access; a partial course refund preserves it. Membership refunds and disputes can change access for the affected period. Refunding a membership payment does not cancel its future renewal.
When a payment is refunded, the proportional Lockers platform fee is returned. This does not promise a refund of the payment provider’s fees or create a general refund guarantee. The payment terms apply to the purchase.
